Kris Holm Unicycles: Capture The Moment Photography Contest
An entry (photograph) can be entered into any one (1) of the following categories:- Action: focus is the riding.
- Culture: focus is the people.
- Landscape: focus is the location.

Contest Period
Contest periods are as posted on the photo competition website.
General Rules
Who can enter: The contest is open to anyone. Employees of contest sponsors or co-sponsors are welcome to submit photos but are ineligible for prizes.
How to Enter: To enter, read these rules and click I Agree at the bottom of this page. By entering in this contest you agree that you have accepted these rules. Then sign up or login, complete the entry form and upload the image that you wish to enter. Please note: one image per entry.
How Many Entries: Entrants may submit up to three (3) photos per competition period. More than one photo can be entered in a category, but a single photo can?t be entered into multiple categories.
Photos are moderated before appearing on the site. Photos that are deemed inappropriate will not be eligible. This includes photos deemed culturally inappropriate or showing riding-caused damage to public facilities. While there is no restriction on product brands within photos, photo entries will also be rejected if they appear to be obvious advertisements for other brands or products. Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd. reserves the right to make a judgement call on this.
Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd. is not responsible for any lost, late, damaged, destroyed or misdirected entries.
This contest is subject to Canadian law.
Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw, terminate or modify all or part of this contest for any reason by publishing a notice on the photo contest website. This includes termination due to evidence of fraudulent voting.
Voters are required to register as a user in order to rate entries. Only one (1) user account is permitted per person. Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd. reserves the right to terminate user accounts (and disqualify entries for these accounts) it believes violate these terms.
The Prizes
Prizes will be awarded periodically as posted on the photo contest website.
The winners per category will be determined by a photo score that will be calculated based on a 5 star rating system. Within the competition period, the photo that receives the highest score is the winner. In the case of a tie, Kris Holm will judge the winner.
Prizes and voter submission results must be accepted as awarded. Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd. and UDC reserve the right to substitute the Prizes in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the Prizes is unavailable. Prizes will be shipped to the winners from the nearest Contest Co-sponsor (UDC) to their residence.
Prize Winners release Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd., UDC, their members, and the contest sponsors of all liability that could result from the awarding or use of the prize. In the event of a minor being declared a winner, a form of declaration must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Rights
With each photo submission, you certify that you either; a) are the photographer and maintain rights to publish & distribute the submitted photo(s) OR b) have obtained the proper permissions/rights to publish & distribute the submitted photo(s). PLEASE NOTE THAT EVEN IF IT'S A PICTURE OF YOU, THAT USUALLY THE PHOTOGRAPHER OWNS THE PICTURE. Please ask the photographer's permission before submitting the picture.
By entering this contest, you grant Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd. or Contest Co-Sponsor (UDC) the right to publish or use your name, photograph and statements in any advertisements, promotional materials or marketing initiatives in any print, web or television media format, without compensation. Photos entered must be free from watermarks or other copyright logos.
By entering this contest, you optionally agree to allow Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd. or Contest Co-Sponsor (UDC) to submit your photos to 3rd party print, web, or television media (e.g. cycling magazines or newspapers). Photos would be submitted without compensation to either Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd., Contest Co-Sponsor, or you. Kris Holm Unicycles Ltd. appreciates your agreement on this if you choose to do so; the intent would be to help grow awareness of our sport by distributing great photography to mainstream media.
